Directions from both the North and South.
From Junction 36 of the M6 head west onto the A590 towards Kendal and Southern Lake District.
After approximately 3 miles turn off the dual carriageway signposted to Barrow and turn left at the roundabout to continue along the A590.
Continue for approximately 6 miles until you reach a roundabout. Remain on the A590 by turning right here and proceed along the dual carriageway again following the signs for Barrow until you reach Newby Bridge.
In Newby Bridge turn left at the roundabout again continuing on the A590 towards Barrow.
Approximately 5 miles later you will reach a dual carriageway and see a right hand turn onto the A5092 to Coniston. Take this turn and follow the road for approximately 2 miles until a right hand turn onto the A5084 to Coniston/Torver.
Proceed on this road for another 6 miles through Blawith and Water Yeat until you arrive at a T junction with the A593. You will have a pub in front of you called the Wilson Arms.
Turn left onto the A593 and then right approximately 100m later as though you were going to the pub. Follow the road round to the left between the rows of houses.
Braeside is the last property on the right (2nd white house).
You may park on the driveway or use the lay-by just 50m up the lane on the right for additional parking.
